A Coffee with the Mayor of Lukavice

How frequently do you challenge yourself without using the comforts offered by modern comforts? Creatosphere’s Anthony recently participated in a transformative self-development training in the Czech Republic, which was done by Katka and Maria from Brno Connected. The challenge? After spending nearly a week studying theory came the moment to put it all into practice. For two and a half days, participants went without smartphones, money, or food. They eventually found themselves in the little town of Lukavice, where they sought support from the municipality and scheduled a meeting with the mayor and have a chat.

Orpheus singing: Overcoming Limits with Playful Exercises

On the 1st of September, under a clear blue sky at the dog park, a small group gathered for an Orpheus singing workshop. The beautiful weather mirrored the high spirits as participants immersed themselves in a journey of mindfulness and vocal exploration. We began with gentle exercises, warming our bodies and vocal cords, transitioning into the soothing practice of Orpheus singing. The air buzzed with energy as we calmed our minds using special sounds and gestures, learning to navigate stress and restless nights. As the session progressed, the atmosphere shifted from serene to dynamic. We engaged in playful exercises that awakened our diaphragms and voices, helping us break free from limiting beliefs. Each participant sang their name, leading the group in a joyful chorus that felt like a shared blessing. By the end, the group, though small, felt deeply connected and enriched. The event left everyone with a sense of pride, upliftment, and a newfound appreciation for mindfulness and playful expression.
