WHAT IS ERASMUS+?

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. how can i JOIN?

If your goal is to develop your skills, meet like-minded people, and travel across Europe, the Erasmus+ program is very suitable. Hundreds of projects occur each year, each focusing on different topics and intentions. Training courses and youth exchanges cover all your food, travel, and accommodation expenses and typically last between five days and two weeks. Some projects may require a participation fee for logistical support.

Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges

Youth Exchanges are meetings of groups of young people from different countries who gather for a short period for a non-formal education programme (a mix of workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, simulations, outdoor activities, etc.) If you’re a young person up to 30 years old and are eager to travel, experience different cultures, learn new things, and meet new people, youth exchanges are perfect for you!

Erasmus+ Training Courses

Erasmus+ supports the professional development of youth workers through training courses on different topics abroad. If you are over 18 years and aim to enhance your professional skills to advance your career and primarily work with young people, training courses offer a fantastic opportunity to learn abroad for up to two weeks, depending on the project.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

Are you thinking of starting your own business, or have you recently done so? Unlike the previous two, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange program lasting between 2 and 6 months. It offers new or aspiring entrepreneurs above the age of 18 the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who run small businesses in other participating countries.

A Coffee with the Mayor of Lukavice

How frequently do you challenge yourself without using the comforts offered by modern comforts? Creatosphere’s Anthony recently participated in a transformative self-development training in the Czech Republic, which was done by Katka and Maria from Brno Connected. The challenge? After spending nearly a week studying theory came the moment to put it all into practice. For two and a half days, participants went without smartphones, money, or food. Anthony, along with three other individuals from other nations, had to adapt and improvise their way through a variety of unforeseen challenges. They eventually found themselves in the little town of Lukavice, where they sought support from the municipality and scheduled a meeting with the mayor and have a chat.

Into Our Wild | Erasmus+ Training Course

In June, Simona and Alice swapped city life for an adventure in Hopeland, Greece, taking part in the ‘Into Our Wild’ Erasmus+ training. Over eight transformative days, they explored nature, community, and self-discovery. From farm work under the Greek sun to playful improvisations and sharing circles, they embraced every moment. Surrounded by Hopeland’s lush landscapes, they slowed down, connected deeply, and gained fresh insights to bring back to Bulgaria. With gratitude-filled hearts, they’re ready to spread the wild spirit of Hopeland. Huge thanks to Hopeland and everyone who made this possible.
